plateau duration (40 ms) and dead time (60 ms) are fixed: the engine reads
them live but the server's live-parameter set does not expose them.
intrinsic
per cell class, not per column: each slider moves every neuron relative to
its own e-type value. the number is the cADpyr
reference.
neuromodulation
acts by scaling apical coupling gc
(×1→4) and noise σ (×1→2.6) from wherever they
sit at dose 0. those receptors are densest on L5 apical tufts, and
depolarising the tuft is what agonism does there. return to 0 to restore.
this is prior precision.
acts by raising sensory drive (×1→2.5, nicotinic
facilitation of thalamocortical terminals) and lowering
inhibitory gain (×1→0.55, the VIP→SST
disinhibitory motif). this is sensory precision,
and it pulls against the dose above. the
neuromodulation lens measures which one wins.
